Conference ‘Strengthening Climate Justice Financing in the BRICS’

Date: 6th and 7th May

Venue: Brasilia Cultural Centre

This international conference will bring together government representatives, academic researchers and civil society organisations to discuss financing and climate justice. In dialogue with the themes presented by Brazil’s presidency of BRICS in 2025 and one of its focuses of action on climate finance – as well as Brazil’s presidency at COP30 – the event seeks to debate and influence global action on these urgent challenges.

The conference is organised by the Socio-Environmental Platform of the BRICS Policy Center (BPC), in partnership with FASE, the International Association for Popular Cooperation (Baobab), the Tricontinental Institute and with the support of the Institute for Climate and Society (iCS).
