Every year, social movements and non-governmental organizations from the BRICS countries organize the independent People’s Forum on BRICS. This year, the virtual event will take place from October 18 to 22. The themes are pandemic, disaster, and resilience; geo-economics and economic partnerships; geopolitics; energy, climate change, and natural resources; gender; labor rights; social justice.
“BRICS in the international conjuncture” invites representatives of the main social movements organizing the event to speak about their views on the BRICS and what they expect from the peoples’ summit.
