Encuentro Regional Sobre Inversiones, Derechos Humanos y Gestión Ambiental en América Latina y el Caribe

The Regional Meeting on Investments, Human Rights and Environmental Management in Latin America and the Caribbean was held on June 6 and 7 in Quito. The BRICS Policy Center was represented by its director, Professor Paulo Esteves.

The meeting was promoted by the International Senior Lawyers Project (ISLP) with the support of Derecho, Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (DAR) and the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO).

With the aim of fostering collaboration and innovation between organizations of different countries that work around local, national and/or international level, extractive and infrastructure sector in Latin America, the event brought together experts and organizations from different countries, such as Brazil, Peru, Bolivia and others.
