During the first day of the T20 Summit – the event of the G20 engagement group that brings together think tanks and research centers – the BRICS Policy Center had outstanding participation for its co-leadership work in Task Force 3 (FT3).

As co-leader of Task Force 3 (FT3), researcher Ana Garcia was moderator of breakout session C “Reforming the international financial architecture”, which was also attended by BPC researcher Lucas Carames.
During the closing meeting in the afternoon, representatives of task forces 3, 4, 5 and 6 gave their thoughts on the four sessions that took place on the first day. Researcher Ana Garcia summarized the recommendations and answered questions about the work of task force 3.
FT3 aimed to develop reflections and policy recommendations for the reform of the international financial architecture. The recommendations put forward seek to support the work carried out by the AFI, Sustainable Finance and Global Economy Working Groups belonging to the G20 finance track.
