Check out BPC’s participation at BAPA+40 and its side-events
The BRICS Policy Center will take part at The Second High-level United Nations Conference on South-South Cooperation (BAPA+40). The conference will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from March 20 – 22.
Besides figuring in the official conference, the BPC will be organizing, under the auspices of BAPA+40, two side-events:
- Two new detailed publications will be shared on March 19 in the event “South-South Cooperation on Peace and Development”, with support of UNOSSC;
- On March 20, the dialogue “Engaging Private Actors to Achieve the 2030 Agenda: Learning from South-South and Triangular Cooperation” will be held by BPC and DCD-OECD, Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) and German Development Institute (DIE).
Further, the BPC is also co-organizing:
- “Plurality of South-South Cooperation” with the Network of Southern Think Thanks (NeST) and , Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS);
- “APRM as best Practice for South-South Cooperation on Governance in Africa”, with African Union, African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) and New Partnership for África’s Development (NEPAD).
The BPC team will also participate in “Triangular Co-operation in the Era of the 2030 Agenda”, “The Power of International Value Chains in the Global South” and “Impact Assessment and Monitoring & Evaluation vis-à-vis South- South Cooperation: The State of the Debate”.
