BRICS Policy Center welcomes delegation from Renmin University of China at PUC-Rio

The director of the BPC, Dr. Marta Fernández, together with professor and researcher Dr. Monica Herz, the undergraduate coordinator of the Institute of International Relations, Dr. Ricardo Oliveira, and the representative of the CCCI of PUC-Rio, Ms. Christine Duarte, received the delegation of the Renmin University of China at IRI. The meeting, which included around 30 representatives of the foreign institution, as well as the director of the Confucius Institute in Rio, Ms. Sonia Sun, and law professors from other Chinese universities, was led by Prof. Wang Li (vice-president of Renmin University). The participants discussed political and diplomatic issues, possibilities for cooperation and other topics. IRI postgraduate students representing the BPC’s research group, LACID, were also present.
