BRICS Policy Center to hold webinar: “Are we heading for World War III?”
Next Thursday, August 22, at 11 a.m., the BRICS Policy Center will hold a webinar on World War III.
The main objective of this event is to analyze the new geopolitical scenario of the planet and the changes in the world economy and ask ourselves if we are increasing the risks and approaching a Third World War
The webinar is based on the theme of the book organized and written by Manolo Monereo, Carlos Eduardo Martins and Francisco López Segrera, with the participation of 14 other internationally renowned authors.
The events that led to the war in Ukraine, the genocide perpetrated in Gaza with the backing of the United States, the regional escalation of conflicts in the Middle East pitting Israel and Iran against each other, the ongoing tensions around Taiwan and in the Sahel, the crisis of liberal democracy and the threat of the use of nuclear weapons beg the question: have we already entered a Third World War or are we moving strongly towards it? What is its character and risks? What forces are driving it? Is it possible to stop this course of history? How?
These and other questions will be addressed during the two panels of this webinar. Register via the zoom platform.[/vc_column_text]
