In an interview with O Globo, the BPC researcher commented on the developments in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, as well as the recent clash between Zelensky and Trump. For Carlos Frederico, the episode was detrimental to both parties: Ukraine, which left the White House without signing the agreement that aimed to explore minerals on Ukrainian soil, and the United States, which was further influenced by the image of an unreliable partner. However, the researcher emphasized that Ukraine is not a relevant issue in American domestic politics.
