BRICS Policy Center of PUC-Rio participated in the BRICS Academic Forum (FABRICS)

The Director of the BRICS Policy Center, Marta Fernández, the Center’s researcher Paulo Esteves, and the intern of the Socio-Environmental Platform, Rafael Moreira da Silva, took part in the 17th BRICS Academic Forum (FABRICS), held in Brasília on June 25 and 26.

Professor Marta Fernández was invited to join the panel on Institutional Development, where she discussed the prospects of BRICS expansion, the challenges of internal governance, and the strengthening of the bloc’s role in international politics.

The BPC’s participation reaffirms its commitment to the production of critical knowledge, engagement with international networks, and the promotion of Global South perspectives within the BRICS agenda.
