BPC receives workshop “What does foreign policy do?: new analytical approaches”

On May 24 and 25, 2023, the Espaço Política Externa (EPE/IRI-PUC-Rio) and the Foreign Policy Observatory (OPEx/UNESP/UFS) promoted the workshop and debates “What does foreign policy do?: new analytical approaches”.

The workshop, held on the 24th at the BRICS Policy Center, and on the 25th at the IRI2 Auditorium, is set in the context of the elaboration of the book “Foreign policy studies and contemporary theories of International Relations: contributions to new debates in Brazil”, organized by the researchers Maíra Siman (PUC-Rio); Carolina Salgado (PUC-Rio); Bárbara Motta (UFS) and Francine Rossone (PUC-Rio).

The event also included two round tables open to the public, on the 25th, in the IRI2 Auditorium, entitled “Foreign policy and diplomacy in a colonial cartography” and “Foreign Policy and International Public Policies: fields of disputes”, whose record can be accessed now on IRI’s YouTube: bit.ly/3WDXYHK
