BPC receives the release of a book about India

On August 1, the BRICS Policy Center hosted Dr. Manuel Gonzalo (Universidad Nacional de Quilmes) for the launch and debate on his book, entitled “India from Latin America: Peripherisation, Statebuilding and Demand-Led Growth”. The event featured comments by Manu Misra (BRICS Policy Center), Isabela Nogueira (UFRJ), and coordination by Ana Garcia (BRICS Policy Center). Manuel Gonzalo’s work analyzes the history of India based on Latin American structuralist theories, bringing a vision of innovation from the global South. After Manuel Gonzalo’s presentation, a section of comments and questions was opened for the other members of the panel and the audience present.
