BPC/PUC-Rio Fellow Researcher Luis Gouveia took part in the Water-Energy-Peace Nexus Symposium organized by the Environmental Peacebuilding Association (EnPax)
On October 8, Luis Gouveia Jr., Research Fellow at the BRICS Policy Center at PUC-Rio, presented a paper entitled “Water, Energy, and Peace in the BRICS: A Missing Link?” during the 2025 Water-Energy-Peace Nexus Symposium, organized by The Environmental Peacebuilding Association
The article is part of research on security and peace issues within the BRICS conducted by the researcher during his stay at BPC/PUC-Rio, under the supervision of IRI/PUC-Rio professor and BPC researcher Monica Herz.
This symposium was organized by the Environmental Peacebuilding Association (EnPax), an initiative of the United Nations Environment Program, the University of Tokyo, and McGill University.
