BPC Opina: “How Can BRICS Play a Relevant Role in Shaping Global Labor Policies?”
In the tenth episode of the BPC Opina series, Diego Santos, a professor at IRI/PUC-Rio, discusses the new proposals consolidated by the Working Group on Employment in April of this year. Among them, key topics include the social protection of the most vulnerable workers, adapting to technological transformations, and the inclusion of young people and people with disabilities in the labor market.
Professor Diego points out that there are still many challenges ahead, especially regarding the precarization of work, which highlights social vulnerability, leading to instability in labor relations and, consequently, insecurity.
