Agreement with the Queen Mary University of London

A Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) has signed an agreement for the exchange of undergraduate students with Queen Mary University of London. The purpose of the agreement is to strengthen the cooperation ties between Brazil and the United Kingdom.

The partnership refers to the departments of Linguistics, Film, Communication and International Relations of the institutions.

Queen Mary began in 1887 as the People’s Palace, a philanthropic organization opened, according to Queen Victoria, “for the benefit of the people of east London”. Queen Mary University of London is one of the UK’s leading research-focused higher education institutions, with over 25,000 students.
