BPC PARTICIPATES IN A RECEPTION FOR RUSSIAN DELEGATION AT PUC-RIO
On September 23rd, the BRICS Policy Center participated in a reception for Russia Higher School of Economics (Moscow, Russia) at PUC-Rio. The event was organized by PUC-Rio’s International Cooperation Central Coordination Office (CCCI) and notably attended by Prof. Agnes Christian Chaves Faria (PUC-Rio Law School) and Dr. Ricardo Borges Alencar (Deputy Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, CCCI PUC-Rio). To represent HSE, attended the vice-rector Sergei Erofeev, Dr. Milkhail Komarov and Leonid Grigoryev. BPC was represented by the International Relations Institute (IRI) Supervisor and Director Prof. Paulo Esteves and Lia Lopes, Administrative Coordinator in Charge of the BPC’s international partnerships.
During the meeting, participants discussed the possibility of creating an accord of cooperation between the two universities, as well as partnerships for the study of BRICS countries and international relations. The visiting professors also met with PUC-Rio vice-dean Father Fransisco Ivern
