Wang Lei

Dr. WANG Lei is director of Center for BRICS Cooperation Studies and professor of School of Government at Beijing Normal University. He obtained his PhD.degree from Fudan University at Shanghai and Freie Universitaet at Berlin. His research focuses upon global governance and international organization, BRICS cooperation, diplomacy studies, international political economy, etc. He has published 3 academic books and dozens of papers and review articles in Chinese and English journals. He provides policy consultations and recommendations to ministries of the Central Government and local governments, and appears frequently in the influential mainstream TV programs and newspapers. He’s member of the Chinese Chamber of the BRICS Think Tank Council, China National Association For International Studies, Chinese Association for Latin American Studies, etc. He has visited academic institutes in Germany, France, Brazil, India, Russia, South Africa, Indonesia, etc.
