What are the G20 Policy Briefs?
From now until November, when the G20 meeting takes place in Rio de Janeiro, the so-called “policy briefs”, summaries of public policy recommendations drawn up by the forum’s engagement groups, will be published. They were drawn up to guide the heads of state during the negotiations.
The policy briefs are prepared with information based on current scientific research and suggestions for action, to enrich the debate on public policies. The BRICS Policy Center participated in the drafting of the documents through researchers Marta Fernández, Monica Herz, Carlos Coelho, Isabel Rocha de Siqueira, Maureen Santos, Maria Elena Rodriguez, Paulo Esteves and Carlos Frederico Coelho.
T20, an engagement group that brings together research centers and think tanks, has already started publishing the first ones on its website. The documents for Task Forces 1, 2, 3 and 5 have already been published on T20 Website.
