2nd G20 Finance Track Ministerial Meeting

This week sees the “spring meetings” of the multilateral financial institutions in Washington DC. On this occasion, the second ministerial meeting of the G20 finance track will also take place, highlighting the reform agenda of the Multilateral Development Banks.

In this context, the BRICS Policy Center has been holding discussions on the reform of MDBs to boost the financial architecture of the 21st century.
We would like to highlight the organization of the Policy Dialogue “Multilateral Financing for Global Challenges”, led by BPC researcher Paulo Esteves, which will bring together think tanks, government representatives and MDBs on Friday 19th.

Aligned with the IFAWG and SFWG agendas, the workshop aims to identify viable solutions to facilitate developing countries’ access to funds related to global challenges. The event, co-organized by the BRICS Policy Center and other institutions, will be held in Washington DC, bringing together leading representatives of the sector.
