On August 21, Ana Garcia, professor and general coordinator of the BRICS Policy Center, gave an interview to the Chinese channel Xinhua News Agency about the unique characteristics of the 15th meeting of BRICS leaders. The professor says that South Africa’s leadership as the host country of the summit, as well as the fact that it is the first face-to-face summit after the pandemic, are important milestones for communication, cooperation and alliances between the bloc.
