On October 3, the director of the BPC, Prof. Marta Fernandéz, took part in the International Conversation “The BRICS: development strategies and cooperation mechanisms in the multipolar world” at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. The conference was organized by the UNMSM, the Centre for Asian Studies at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, the Russian Embassy, the Schiller-Peru Institute and the San Marcos Foundation.
The professor was part of the second panel, which included other experts from each of the BRICS member countries, elaborating on Brazil’s role within the BRICS grouping, highlighting the Global Governance agenda proposed by the presidency of the Lula government and the commitment to reforming the global architecture.
