The Director of the BRICS Policy Center/PUC-Rio, Dr. Marta Fernández, participated in the Fiker Institute’s Public Lecture Series in Dubai, delivering the talk “Rethinking BRICS in the Age of Trump.”
The event, held at the institute’s library in Alserkal Avenue, marks another step in strengthening the institutional partnership between PUC-Rio’s BPC and the Fiker Institute, an interdisciplinary think tank founded in 2021 with the mission of amplifying Middle Eastern perspectives in global debates. With a focus on global governance, foreign policy, neocolonialism, and culture, the Fiker Institute employs an approach that blends political analysis with cultural and artistic production. The collaboration between the two institutions reaffirms their mutual commitment to promoting South–South dialogue and to building critical studies of the challenges shaping the contemporary international order.
