Researchers from the BRICS Policy Center/PUC-Rio, Paulo Esteves and Carlos Frederico Coelho, participated in the launch of an international report aimed at revisiting the legacy of the Bandung Conference.

The document analyzes the relevance of the principles formulated 70 years ago in light of today’s global crises and the reconfiguration of power relations within the international system.

The authors highlight that the Bandung Principles remain an essential reference for issues of cooperation among Global South countries, thus inspiring new forms of international solidarity and multilateral dialogue.

“Bandung at 70” is a joint project by the Körber-Stiftung, developed in partnership with the BRICS Policy Center/PUC-Rio, the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia, Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations, the University of Oxford, Chatham House, and the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA).
