🗣 During the launch, the directors of IRI and BPC shared details about the creation of the PRIME Hub, its goals, and introduced the new team responsible for the project. On the occasion, the official PRIME Hub webpage on the BPC website was also launched.

🗣 Executive Secretary Luis Fernandes highlighted the relevance of the BRICS group in redefining the global geography of Science and Technology, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in strategic areas such as Technology and Artificial Intelligence. In this context, he stressed the strategic role played by the NDB, in partnership with the BPC, in conducting studies and initiatives focused on these themes.

🗣 Henrique Pissaia emphasized the importance of the partnership between the IEO, NDB, and the Institute of International Relations:

“We would especially like to thank the IRI team for supporting our Evaluation Manual, which is available on the PRIME page being launched today. It is a landmark for participatory and inclusive evaluation, with a focus on the Global South.”

“The IEO, in its three years of activity, started working with IRI from the very first month. IRI is a very important strategic partner for us.”

“We at the IEO are already observer members of the ICDI, the evaluation group of multilateral banks, and we will bring the Global South perspective to this group. It’s the most important group, including the World Bank, the African Bank, the Black Sea Bank, and the Inter-American Bank, and we will begin participating in this group with the full support of IRI and our other partners.”
