The BRICS Policy Center (BPC) has maintained a constant presence at the T20 since the German presidency in 2017. The BPC team actively participated in the publication of six policy briefs in collaboration with various G20 institutions. In 2024, BPC, represented by its director, Marta Fernández, joined the T20 Brazil National Advisory Council.

The Council is made up of more than 45 institutions, aiming to contribute to advancing a development agenda, expanding rights and promoting global equality through qualified research, training researchers, strategic analysis and public advocacy. The BPC, represented by researcher Ana Garcia, also plays a leading role in Task Force 3, which focuses on Reforming the International Financial Architecture.
