On\u00a0March 9th and 10th, 2017<\/strong>, the\u00a0Laborat\u00f3rio de Estudos em Economia Pol\u00edtica da China (LabChina)<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0and the International Political Economy Graduation Programme of the\u00a0Economy Institute of\u00a0Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro<\/em><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0jointly organize the conference\u00a0“Economia Pol\u00edtica do Desenvolvimento da China”<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0BRICS Policy Center<\/strong>\u00a0will participate in the event through the presence of its\u00a0General Supervisor<\/strong>,\u00a0Prof. Paulo Esteves<\/a><\/strong>, that will participate on the table\u00a0“A Internacionaliza\u00e7\u00e3o da Moeda Chinesa, Novo Banco de Desenvolvimento e a Estrat\u00e9gia BRICS”<\/strong><\/em>, with\u00a0Ana Garcia (UFRRJ)<\/strong>\u00a0as coordinator.\u00a0Prof. Luis Manuel Fernandes<\/a><\/strong>, of the\u00a0International Relations Institute of PUC-Rio<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0will be on the table\u00a0“Upgrade\u00a0Tecnol\u00f3gico, Sistemas de Inova\u00e7\u00e3o e Desafios Ambientais”<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The main goal of the event is to discuss what we can expect from the world’s second biggest economy in the current global scenario. The participants will try to respond questions such as:\u00a0what are the current challenges for China’s domestic economic policy? what is changing in the chinese accumulation pattern and what are the most evident social constraints? what can we expect from China’s international repositioning? what are the impatcs for the periphery in crisis, mostly to Brazil and Latin America?<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
