The election of Donald Trump to the presidency of the United States is an example of the rise of conservative nationalist-populist governments in the world. Such a scenario challenges the very principles of Brazilian Foreign Policy, but also allows for new opportunities concerning the countrie’s expansion of influence for the next years.<\/p>\n

In an effort to discuss these and other questions, the\u00a0Brazil Initative<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0Elliot School of International Affairs<\/a><\/strong>\/The George Washington University (GWU)<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0will organize on\u00a0April 17th, 2017<\/strong>, the seminar\u00a0“Saving Multilateralism: The future of Brazilian foreign policy in the age of Trump”<\/strong>. The event will be held in the\u00a0Lindner Commons<\/strong>\u00a0auditory, at\u00a0GWU campus<\/strong>, in\u00a0Washington D.C<\/strong>.
