On Thursday 13 June 2019, at 18.00, the Former President of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff, together with the former Minister for Justice, Eugenio Arag\u00e3o, will be speaking at the launch of a new book in the National University of Bras\u00edlia In Spite of You: Bolsonaro and the New Brazilian Resistance, edit by Conor Foley, visiting professor at the International Relation Institute of PUC-Rio.<\/p>\n

The book is the first in the English language to analyse and explain the political crisis that has shaken Brazil in the last three years, including the election of a far-right President Jair Bolsonaro, the impeachment of one of his predecessors, Dilma Rousseff, and the trial and imprisonment of her predecessor Luiz Ignacio Lula de Silva.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
