The researcher of the Socio-environmental Platform of the Brics Policy Center and program coordinator of the Heinrich B\u00f6ll Foundation Brazil, Maureen Santos, commented on the panel &#8220;Fiscal policy and the environment&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Held with support from the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/fes-brasil.org\/\">Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Brazil<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/brasildebate.com.br\/\">Brasil Debate<\/a>, the meeting brought together experts to analyze and discuss the effects of budget cuts of the Ministry of Environment on the environmental agenda in Brazil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the event, the project &#8220;Austerity and Retreat 2&#8221; was presented.
