{"id":4853,"date":"2016-11-28T16:59:46","date_gmt":"2016-11-28T18:59:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/devbrq.fazti.com.br\/?p=4853"},"modified":"2018-04-11T17:11:13","modified_gmt":"2018-04-11T20:11:13","slug":"brics-policy-center-participates-in-the-event-organized-by-the-british-embassy-and-wilton-park-in-brasilia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bricspolicycenter.org\/en\/brics-policy-center-participates-in-the-event-organized-by-the-british-embassy-and-wilton-park-in-brasilia\/","title":{"rendered":"BRICS POLICY CENTER PARTICIPATES IN THE EVENT ORGANIZED BY THE BRITISH EMBASSY AND WILTON PARK IN BRAS\u00cdLIA"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5><\/h5>\n<p>On the\u00a0<strong>17-18 November, 2016<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"\/?p=1019\" target=\"_self\">Supervisor General of the BRICS Policy Center, Prof. Paulo Esteves<\/a><\/strong>, representing the BRICS Policy Center, was in\u00a0<strong>Bras\u00edlia<\/strong>\u00a0where he participated in the event\u00a0<strong>\u201cImproving the impact of development projects in Sub-Saharan Africa through increased UK\/Brazil cooperation and partnerships\u201d<\/strong>, organized by the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/world\/brazil\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">British Embassy<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and by\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wiltonpark.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wilton Park.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Given the necessity to help and protect the most vulnerable African countries to reach the\u00a0<strong>UN\u00b4s 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda<\/strong>, both Brazil and the United Kingdom have been carrying out for several years distinct types of cooperation to help them in this process.<\/p>\n<p>With this in mind, Prof. Paulo Esteves participated in the round table discussion\u00a0<strong>\u201cMeasuring programme and mechanism effectiveness\u201d<\/strong>, where the policies and institutional mechanisms in force were explored.
