{"id":4813,"date":"2016-10-18T15:37:54","date_gmt":"2016-10-18T17:37:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/devbrq.fazti.com.br\/?p=4813"},"modified":"2018-04-11T15:44:17","modified_gmt":"2018-04-11T18:44:17","slug":"brics-policy-center-receives-chinese-newspaper-peoples-daily","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bricspolicycenter.org\/en\/brics-policy-center-receives-chinese-newspaper-peoples-daily\/","title":{"rendered":"BRICS POLICY CENTER RECEIVES CHINESE NEWSPAPER PEOPLE&#8217;S DAILY"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5><\/h5>\n<p>On the day of\u00a0<strong>18 October 2016<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>BRICS Policy Center<\/strong>\u00a0received in its headquarters in\u00a0<strong>Botafogo,\u00a0Mr. Chen Xiaowei, Director and Senior Correspondent<\/strong>\u00a0of the Latin America office of the Chinese newspaper\u00a0<strong>People\u2019s Daily<\/strong>, and his assistant,\u00a0<strong>Ms. Hailin Wang.<\/strong>\u00a0The visitors were received by the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"\/?p=1019\" target=\"_self\">General Supervisor of the BRICS Policy Center, Prof. Paulo Esteves<\/a><\/strong>, and by the<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"\/?p=2048\" target=\"_self\">Administrative Coordinator of the Center, Ms. Lia Lopes.\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the meeting was to check the latest details of an\u00a0<strong>agreement of partnership<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>between the BPC and the newspaper.<\/strong>\u00a0Once signed, this partnership \u00a0will allow, for example, i<strong>nterchange of publications<\/strong>, as much in Portuguese as in English, between the two institutions. The publications received by the BRICS Policy Center\u00a0<strong>will be posted on our website<\/strong>\u00a0and will be available for download, just like\u00a0<strong>the publications sent by the Center will be posted by the newspaper.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the end of the meeting, Prof. Paulo Esteves gave an\u00a0<strong>interview<\/strong>\u00a0in which he spoke about the\u00a0<strong>8th BRICS Summit<\/strong>, which occurred from\u00a0<strong>15-16 October<\/strong>.
