The theme of this year\u2019s meeting was\u00a0<strong>\u201cMaking eradication of poverty and integral objective of all policies: what will it take?\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>BRICS Policy Center<\/strong>\u00a0was represented by its\u00a0<strong><a href=\"\/?p=1019\" target=\"_self\">General Supervisor, Paulo Esteves<\/a><\/strong>, who discussed Brazilian experiences to fight poverty. Besides the BPC, some agencies of the United Nations and other Think Tanks and NGOs were also part of the debate.<\/p>\n<p>According to the current Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Amina Mohammed, the eradication of poverty remains the more important challenge of the international community today.
