Besides\u00a0<strong>Fudan University<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>World Economy<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Social Sciences Institute of Shanghai\u2019s Academy and the International Studies Institute of Shanghai\u00a0<\/strong>also were involved in the organization process.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>BRICS Policy Center<\/strong>\u00a0was represented at the Forum by its researcher\u00a0<strong><a href=\"\/?p=1177\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Geovana Zoccal<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0that, apart from more than 50 governmental representatives, international organizations and from academy, counted with the participation of\u00a0<strong>Ambassador Celso Amorim<\/strong>\u00a0(former Minister of Foreign Affairs and former Minister of Defense),\u00a0<strong>Paulo Nogueira Batista<\/strong>\u00a0(Vice-President of the New Development Bank) and\u00a0<strong>Chen Duqing<\/strong>(former Chinese Ambassador to Brazil).<\/p>\n<p>The Forum, which had the theme\u00a0<strong>\u201cGlobalization in the Time of Transition: Shared opportunities, challenges and responsibilities for BRICS\u201d<\/strong>discussed topics related to sub-regional cooperation, institutional development, cooperation for development, educational cooperation and economic cooperation.
