For the seventh consecutive year, the BPC is recognized among the best Thinks Tanks of the world. The result has been released by the\u00a0Global Go To Think Tank Index Report 2017<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, produced by the University of Pennsylvania. The report is the outcome of a survey \u00a0answered by more than 7500 academicians, public and private donners, decision makers and journalists. The ranking gathers 7815 Think Tanks across the world.<\/p>\n

In 2017, the BPC went up seven positions in the ranking and figures between the 20 \u201cBest Think Tanks in Central and South America\u201d. The center also stood out in the category \u201cBest University Affiliated Think Tanks\u201d, as the best in Brazil and 9th<\/sup>\u00a0best worldwide. In the \u201cBest Transdisciplinary Research Think Tank\u201d ranking, BRICS Policy Center is among the top five worldwide.<\/p>\n

Out of the 93 brazilian Think Tanks mentioned in the report, the BPC has the best results in the following categories: \u201cTop Science and Technology Think Tanks\u201d, \u201cBest New Idea or Paradigm Developed by a Think Tank\u201d, \u201cBest Think Tank Conference\u201d, \u201cBest Think Tank Network\u201d, \u201cBest Transdisciplinary Research Think Tank\u201d and \u201cBest University Affiliated Think Tanks\u201d.<\/p>\n

The BRICS Policy Center, founded in 2010, is affiliated with the International Relations Institute (IRI) of Pontif\u00edcia Universidade Cat\u00f3lica do Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n
