The arrival of Donald Trump to power in the United States in 2025 represented not only an obstacle to the increase that was already diagnosed as necessary, but also led to catastrophic losses in both development financing and humanitarian aid volumes. The scenario of cuts, coupled with the climate and geopolitical crises, has intensified tragic situations in various parts of the world, and the responses that are taking shape in the face of these complex challenges have increasingly included private interests, whose actions need to be scrutinized if we want to avoid exacerbating inequalities.<\/p>\n<a href=\"\" target=\"_blank\"
