The Director of BPC\/PUC-Rio, Marta Fern\u00e1ndez, gave an interview to the Mundioka podcast, from the Sputnik Brasil newspaper, to analyze the growing interest of countries in the Global South in BRICS and the recent transformations of the international order.<\/p>\n
Throughout her speech, the director highlighted that several countries have sought closer ties with BRICS for economic reasons, such as the diversification of partnerships and interest in the New Development Bank (NDB), and also in response to more assertive foreign policies from the United States, which stimulates the expansion of strategic alternatives.<\/p>\n
