On October 23, the PRIME Hub held the First Seminar on the Evaluation of Infrastructure Interventions in partnership with the Brazilian Network for Monitoring and Evaluation, and with support from the The Independent Evaluation Office of the New Development Bank.<\/p>\n

The seminar\u2019s theme, \u201cBridging the Gap for Sustainable Development,\u201d<\/em> highlighted the relationship between infrastructure, development, and the processes of evaluating and monitoring public policies and projects. The event aimed to foster discussion and the development of methodologies and practices for conducting comprehensive evaluations of infrastructure interventions, guided by an intersectional approach and principles of participation and inclusion.<\/p>\n

To this end, the seminar featured three thematic sessions that shared experiences in planning, monitoring, and evaluating infrastructure projects and programs, with an emphasis on methods sensitive to gender and racial inequalities, as well as concerns related to environmental justice and sustainable development.<\/p>\n
