In his speech, he emphasized that the Brazilian president&#8217;s speech at the UN General Assembly will take place in an international context marked by Donald Trump&#8217;s second term and the redefinition of American foreign policy, which runs counter to the multilateralism championed by Brazil.<br \/>\nFaced with a scenario of conflicts not seen since 1945, Brazil is expected to reinforce its historic defense of international law and cooperation, in addition to attempting to include the climate agenda, crucial for the country, in both the opening speech and the COP 30 agenda. However, the researcher emphasizes that the international community has prioritized security agendas, which could limit the progress Brazil seeks at COP 30.<br \/>\nFurthermore, he addressed the expectation that Brazil will declare support for the recognition of the Palestinian state, reaffirming its diplomatic tradition. The professor, however, warned that this move could generate tensions, as Israel has the strong support of the United States and shows no intention of backing down from its actions in Gaza.
