The discussion featured trade experts Carlos Frederico Coelho, Denise Gregory, Fernando Ribeiro, and Gustavo Niskier, professors at IRI and its Professional Master&#8217;s program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"selectable-text copyable-text x15bjb6t x1n2onr6\" dir=\"ltr\"><span class=\"selectable-text copyable-text xkrh14z\">During the webinar, the experts discussed two US government decisions that significantly impacted bilateral relations between the countries: the sanction against Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes and the confirmation of a 50% tariff on several Brazilian products.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"selectable-text copyable-text x15bjb6t x1n2onr6\" dir=\"ltr\"><span class=\"selectable-text copyable-text xkrh14z\">Carlos Frederico Coelho emphasized that, of all sectors, agribusiness is the most affected. The discussion then focused on how the industry reacted to the news, from the initial threat to the measure&#8217;s implementation.
