SCIS focuses on understanding and addressing inequality in the Global South.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership was cemented after the joint webinar &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/bricspolicycenter.org\/en\/on-october-9-2024-the-brics-policy-center-in-partnership-with-the-southern-centre-for-inequality-studies-scis-held-the-webinar-addressing-systemic-inequality-through-an-urban-lens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Addressing Systemic Inequality Through an Urban Lens<\/strong><\/a>&#8221; on October 9, 2024, which aimed to discuss systemic inequality and its impact on urban areas.
