On July 17, the BRICS Policy Center at PUC-Rio welcomed a delegation of 25 undergraduate students from the Colombian Institute of Higher Education of Incolda (ICESI). Students from the Social Sciences, Law, and Communication programs had the opportunity to discuss various topics, including a presentation of the Center’s main initiatives and areas of activity and questions from BPC Director Marta Fern\u00e1ndez about Brazil’s role in BRICS+.<\/p>\n

Administrative Coordinator Lia Frota explained the BPC’s fellowship and volunteer internship program to the visitors, highlighting the Center’s opportunities for training and research engagement. Mar\u00edlia Firmino, Academic Coordinator of Prime Hub, then highlighted the Center’s work integrating critical thinking applied to monitoring and evaluation.<\/p>\n

Concluding the visit, Marta Fern\u00e1ndez answered students’ questions about the central themes of Brazil’s BRICS presidency in 2025, addressing its main challenges and potential implications for international governance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
