{"id":23863,"date":"2025-07-14T14:46:47","date_gmt":"2025-07-14T17:46:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bricspolicycenter.org\/?p=23863"},"modified":"2025-07-29T13:09:04","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T16:09:04","slug":"uae-hosts-brics-youth-dialogue-in-rio-de-janeiro-brazil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bricspolicycenter.org\/en\/uae-hosts-brics-youth-dialogue-in-rio-de-janeiro-brazil\/","title":{"rendered":"The BRICS Policy Center of PUC-Rio was present at the \u201cBRICS Youth Dialogue\u201d promoted by the United Arab Emirates at the Museu do Amanh\u00e3 in Rio de Janeiro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"200\" data-end=\"343\">Delegations from the BRICS Policy Center at PUC-Rio and from IRI\/PUC-Rio participated in the \u201cBRICS Youth Dialogue\u201d event, organized by the UAE.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"345\" data-end=\"549\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Marking a milestone in youth engagement, the United Arab Emirates brought to Brazil for the first time its pioneering model of \u201cYouth Dialogue,\u201d as part of its broader participation in the BRICS Summit.<\/p>\n<p>In partnership with Rio de Janeiro\u2019s iconic Museum of Tomorrow, the UAE hosted a dynamic BRICS Youth Dialogue, uniting 40 Brazilian university students from four universities in a future-focused conversation on international cooperation, sustainability, and the essential role of youth in shaping and influencing the global agenda. The session was led by His Excellency Saeed Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs and UAE\u2019s BRICS Sherpa, alongside His Excellency Saleh Al Suwaidi, UAE Ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>In his remarks, H.E. Al Hajeri said: \u201cThis dialogue reflects the UAE\u2019s deep belief that multilateral cooperation must embrace the voices, ideas, and ambitions of the next generation. We do not see youth merely as future leaders, but as essential partners in shaping the solutions we urgently need today. Brazil is a key partner for the UAE, both within the BRICS framework and beyond. We believe that lasting partnerships are built not only through trade and diplomacy but also through trust, connection, and shared aspirations. That begins with open conversations like the one we are having here today.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is no coincidence that for more than a decade, the Arab Youth Survey has named the UAE as the country where most young people in the Middle East would like to live. A testament to the safety, opportunity, and optimism we strive to foster.
