The event brought together experts from various countries, including representatives from academia, civil society, and government authorities, to discuss strategies to strengthen the climate justice agenda within the BRICS bloc. Throughout the event, various proposals and concrete solutions were presented to drive sustainable development through cooperation among BRICS countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The event featured the participation of authorities such as Daniel Nogueira Leit\u00e3o from the General Coordination of Interregional Mechanisms (CGBRICS) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who spoke at the opening panel. Andr\u00e9 Aquino from the Economic and Environmental Advisory Office of the Ministry of the Environment took part in Panel 2, while Panel 4 included Tatiana Berringer from the International Special Advisory of the Presidency of the Republic and Ethiopian Ambassador Leulseged Tadese Abebe. In addition to these authorities, the event also welcomed numerous representatives from civil society, academia, and social movements, who engaged in debates across four panels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">During the conference, several proposals were made by panelists, covering topics such as reforming the international finance and taxation systems, measures to accelerate the energy transition, support for community leadership, and strategies to unify the Global South in the pursuit of climate justice.
