The Young Climate Negotiators Program trains young leaders, especially from the peripheries, indigenous, black and LGBTQIA+, to become effective climate negotiators, representing the perspectives of Brazilian youth in the Brazilian and UN Climate Agenda. In partnership with Rio de Janeiro&#8217;s Environment and Climate Secretariat, the first edition of the program trained 50 young leaders, from which delegates were selected for the Amazon Summit and COP 28 in Dubai.<\/p>\n<p>Reinforcing the BRICS Policy Center&#8217;s partnership with the program, on September 28, BPC Director Professor Marta Fern\u00e1ndez gave a lecture on the G20.
