Dr. Thompson is from South Africa and will be in Brazil during the month of September collaborating with the work of the research group <a href=\"https:\/\/bricspolicycenter.org\/en\/projects\/the-political-economy-of-south-south-relations-a-comparative-analysis-of-chinas-investments-in-brazil-and-south-africa\/\">The Political Economy of South-South Relations<\/a>. Among the activities planned during her stay, we highlight her participation in the <a href=\"https:\/\/bricspolicycenter.org\/en\/i-brics-amazon-webinar-brazil-china-and-south-africa-in-comparative-perspective\/\">I BRICS Amazon Seminar: Brazil China and South Africa<\/a> in comparative perspective, which will take place in Manaus between September 9 and 13 with the presence of BPC researchers Dr. Ana Garcia and Maria Elena Rodriguez.
