The work of the BRICS Policy Center at the G20 was highlighted in an exclusive report and article published in the Valor Econ\u00f4mico newspaper last week.<\/p>\n

With the launch of the Declaration of Convergence Dialogues, BPC researcher Ana Saggioro Garcia explained to Valor that the document seeks to increase the impact of recommendations with the leaders of the economic forum. Victoria Netto’s report also showed that the declaration, which brings together recommendations from the T20 and C20, the G20’s engagement groups, deals with reform of the global financial architecture, fair energy transition and inclusive digital transformation.<\/p>\n

In the article also signed by Professor Garcia with the other leaders of Task Force 3 of the T20 and Working Group 1 of the C20, the theme was a reform of the international financial architecture. In the text, the authors propose a reform of the IMF and the Multilateral Development Banks with a financial safety net that includes limits on interest rates, among other things.<\/p>\n
