Founded in 2013 as an initiative of the Institute of International Relations &#8211; IRI (PUC-Rio), through the BRICS Policy Center, GSUM focuses on activities such as international negotiations, mediation and peace operations.<\/p>\n<p>The GSUM is a space for academics, diplomats, government authorities and non-governmental agents with an interest in promoting peace. Through research, seminars, publications and training.
