In the Meeting, articulated by ABRI (Brazilian Association of International Relations) in partnership with the Washington Brazil Office, researchers reported the situation of indigenous populations in Mato Grosso do Sul, of the narcogarimpo, besides having subsidized the Rapporteur with analyses on the severity of the hunger situation in Brazil, and issues related to menstrual dignity. The meeting also included the presence of researchers from the C\u00e1tedra S\u00e9rgio Vieira de Melo, an academic forum for the promotion of refugee rights, who reported on the situation of the migrant population in Brazil, especially black migrants in Santa Catarina, and the working conditions analogous to slavery found in Rio de Janeiro. The Rapporteur visited Brazil from June 10 to 17, 2023, passing through S\u00e3o Paulo, Bras\u00edlia, Salvador, and Rio de Janeiro.
