From June 15-19<\/strong>, 2020, the Latin-American Chapter of the Network of Southern Think-Tanks<\/a> (NeST LATAM) will organize its first edition of the Winter School NeST LATAM (Escola de Inverno NeST LATAM<\/em>) about South-South and Triangular Cooperation: Multi-stakeholder and Financial Partnerships for Development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This will be a course of 45 hours which will provide a rigorous introduction to the concepts, theories and perspectives fundamental to CSSTr, such as its actors and processes. In the advanced courses, participants will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of (i)<\/strong> the International Cooperation Agenda for Development, (ii)<\/strong> Tools and Modalities, (iii)<\/strong> Capacity Building, (iv)<\/strong> Financing, and (v)<\/strong>, Monitoring and Evaluation.<\/p>\n

The Winter School NeST LATAM is open for Graduate students and young professionals <\/strong>interested in International Cooperation for Development, with a focus on specific topics, issues and experience related to the Global South. In exceptional cases, undergraduate students who have an excellent academic record<\/strong> may be accepted, given they intend on pursuing a graduate degree in International Cooperation (or other areas).<\/p>\n

Documents required for the application:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Completed Application Form (Available on the NeST LATAM page<\/a>).<\/li>\n
  2. R\u00e9sum\u00e9<\/li>\n
  3. Copy of Identity Card (Brazilians) or Passport (other nationalities).<\/li>\n
  4. Letter of Interest (maximum 1000 words), addressing the significance of the program and its relevance in helping you complete your goals and how it relates to your current studies or job.<\/li>\n
  5. Academic History and Letter of Recommendation (only for undergraduate applicants).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Additionally, candidates must be<\/strong> fluent in English<\/strong> and open to a wide range of work methods.<\/p>\n
