Victoria Motta

Master’s candidate in International Relations at the  International Relations Institute at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (IRI/PUC-Rio). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with Complement Studies in Conflict Mediation and Restorative Practices at the same university. Research Assistant at the Global South Unit for Mediation of the BRICS Policy Center (GSUM/BPC) and Director of Teaching and Research of the Post-Colonial and Decolonial Debates extension project at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Her areas of research interest based on post-structuralist, post-colonial and decolonial approaches are: Politics of Translation, Protection of Civilians, Humanitarian Interventions, UN Peace Operations, Norms Diffusion and Contestation, and International Political Sociology.
