
Geovana Zoccal

Geovana Zoccal holds a Ph.D. and a Master in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations of the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). She also has an undergraduate degree in International Relations from PUC-Minas. Currently, she is a researcher at the Alexander von Humbolt Foundation, based at the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ – Bonn/Germany). She is also a collaborator of the Laboratory of Financing and International Cooperation for Development (LACID) at the BRICS Policy Cente and has been a visiting scholar at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS -University of Sussex/ UK). She works in the area of International Development Cooperation, with emphasis on new alternatives articulated by countries of the Global South, such as South-South Cooperation for Development, Trilateral Cooperation and New Multilateral Development Banks.
